Terms & Conditions

Deposit, Cancellation & Minimum Spend

A deposit is required to secure all reservations of 12 guests or more:

  • $40 per person is required to secure banquet dining reservations at the cellar table.
  • 50% of the minimum spend is required to secure exclusive reservations.

All deposits are non-refundable. All cancellations must be made in writing to the Reservations Coordinator. If the booking is cancelled:

  • prior to 30 days advance of the reservation, the entire deposit can be returned as a gift voucher.
  • within 30 days of the reservation the deposit is fully forfeited.

The deposit payment may be made via EFT, credit card or cash. The deposit is deducted from the final account, which must be settled at the conclusion of the function.

The minimum spend is the amount committed to for food and beverage only. Additional items such as flowers and audio-visual hire are in addition to this amount. If the minimum spend is not met, the difference will be charged as room hire.

Booking Conditions

We are able to hold a date tentatively for a period of seven days after which time, if a deposit has not been received, the date will be released.

Commencement and conclusion times, guest dietary requirements, beverage arrangements, entertainment, audio-visual requirements, room setup and any other special requests must be confirmed at least seven days prior to the function.

Final confirmation of guest numbers is made two days prior to the function. The agreed menu will be charged according to this number, or final attendance, whichever is greater.

Gingerboy reserves the right to host other functions or general diners in/at the same space/table up to one hour before the scheduled commencement time and one hour after the scheduled conclusion time.

The organiser agrees to commence and conclude the function at the scheduled times agreed upon. In the event a function should run longer than the agreed timeframe, Gingerboy reserves the right to impose a labour charge for each hour and part hour that the space/table remains occupied after the agreed conclusion time.

Clients are financially liable for any damage sustained to the venue whether through the actions of their guests, their outside contractors or any other persons attending the function.
